Our Calgary film packages start at $649 for the Basic package, which covers the partial hood, partial fenders, bumper and mirrors. The Standard, Deluxe and Fusion packages are listed in the pricing section above. Your price depends on your vehicle and the coverage you choose, and we confirm it before any work begins. For a wider look at pricing, read what PPF costs in Canada.
Basic covers the partial hood, partial fenders, bumper and mirrors. Standard adds the roof, A-pillars and door cups. Deluxe covers the full hood and full fenders along with the bumper, mirrors, roof, A-pillars and door cups. Standard Fusion and Deluxe Fusion use the same film coverage and add ceramic coating plus headlight, glass, wheel and caliper, and plastic trim coatings.
PPF stands for paint protection film. It is a clear, durable urethane film applied over your vehicle's paint. It acts as a barrier against rock chips, scratches, sun and stains, and it is nearly invisible once installed.
Quality film can last up to a decade, and ours is backed by a 10-year warranty. How long it lasts depends on the film, the installation and how the vehicle is cared for. See our guides to PPF lifespan and PPF warranties.
Not when it is removed properly. The film we install is designed to come off without damaging the paint or leaving residue. Have a professional remove it. Our PPF removal guide explains the process.
Yes, with some care. Wash regularly with a mild, PPF-safe soap and avoid harsh chemicals and high-pressure spray near the film edges. In winter, a touchless wash is an easy way to rinse off road salt and grit. See our PPF-safe washing guide and our list of touchless car washes in Calgary.
Older films had a reputation for yellowing. The film we install is optically clear and stain resistant, and it is backed by a 10-year warranty. If your film ever looks discoloured, this guide shows how to tell surface staining from true yellowing.
Ceramic coating works well over film. Ceramic Pro is made for paint and paint protection film, and our Fusion packages combine the two. Self-healing film clears most light swirl marks on its own with warmth, so it rarely needs polishing. Ask us before using a machine polisher on film. More on how self-healing PPF works.
Small precut pieces such as door cups or door edges are realistic at home. Large panels like hoods and bumpers are much harder, because any dust or stretch mark is sealed in. We install indoors, with film cut for your exact make and model and edges wrapped wherever possible.
For most Calgary drivers, yes. Winter gravel, highway driving on Deerfoot, Stoney Trail and the Trans-Canada, and construction season all chip unprotected paint. PPF takes those chips and helps protect resale value. It makes the most sense on a new vehicle, before the chips happen. Read is PPF worth it and PPF for new cars.
Bring the vehicle clean, and tell us about any chips, scratches or dents, because film seals in whatever is underneath. Skip wax and polish beforehand, since both can affect how the film sticks. Plan to leave the vehicle with us for a day or longer, depending on coverage. If your paint needs work first, read paint correction before PPF.
