A vinyl wrap is a thin, adhesive film from Avery Dennison or 3M that we apply over your vehicle's paint. It changes the colour or finish of the vehicle and protects the original paint underneath.
A wrap gives you a new look while shielding the paint from light scratches, UV and road grime. It is also reversible, so you can go back to the original colour or change the design whenever you like.
Pricing depends on the size of the vehicle, the film you choose and how complex the design is. Partial wraps and accents cost far less than a full colour change. Contact our Airdrie shop for a quote based on your vehicle.
A quality wrap typically lasts 5 to 7 years, depending on the film, how much sun and winter weather it sees, and how it is washed and maintained.
Very nearly. With the full Avery and 3M catalogues you can choose gloss, satin, matte, metallic, colour-shift and textured films, plus custom printed graphics and decals.
For most people a wrap costs less than a quality respray, it is not permanent, and it preserves the factory paint, which helps resale value. A respray removes that original finish for good.
Yes. A wrap is reversible, and the factory paint underneath has been protected while it was on. Our wrap removal guide explains how it is done.
Generally, yes. A wrap comes off cleanly and protects the paint during the lease. Check your lease agreement, and have the wrap removed before you hand the vehicle back.
Choose hand washing or a touchless wash. Brushes can scuff vinyl and lift its edges. See vinyl wrap maintenance.
Choose a wrap for the widest choice of colours and finishes. Choose PPF if stopping rock chips is the goal. Colored PPF gives you a colour change with chip protection.
